Seven years of recognising North West business

The E3 Business Awards celebrated companies and individuals across the North West that put something back through enterprise, education and employment. From the first ceremony in 2013 to the last in 2019, hundreds of businesses were nominated, shortlisted and recognised, with the finals held at the Macron Stadium in Bolton.

Across those seven years several thousand people came through the ceremonies, from one person start ups to established employers, charities and social enterprises. For many it was the one night of the year the North West business community sat in the same room.

The awards were free to enter and judged by an independent panel drawn from business across the region, so recognition was earned rather than bought. Sponsors backed it because they believed the North West deserved a platform of its own.
